The World's Top 10 Worst Airports

Ninoy Aquino International Airport
This Manila-based airport struggles with the 32 million passengers who use its facility each year. That shouldn’t come as a shock, though, considering it only has the capacity for 6 million passengers, according to CNBC. In 2013, Ninoy was given the title of the world’s worst airport by The Guide to Sleeping in Airports, which asks travelers to rank airports based on comfort, conveniences, cleanliness, and customer service.
Travelers complained about the airport’s rundown facilities, impolite staff and officials, and long wait times. There is, however, some good news for this Philippines airport: CNBC writes that the government there is planning to build a new one, which it hopes to have up and running in five years.

Charles De Gaulle
This poor Paris-based airport does not have a good reputation. In fact, it has one of the worst. “By far the most chaotic and unruly airport in the world. The staff are impolite and sometimes even refuse to speak to you in English even if they seem to understand what you are saying. And God forbid if you land in T1 and have to connect through T3: The two terminals are a kilometer (.6 miles) apart, but the walk between them is around 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) long,” Bertrand D’Souza, editor of Overdrive, wrote in an article for Forbes India.
In addition, Jalopnik asked its readers for input on the world’s worst airports, and Charles De Gaulle took the No. 2 spot. Feedback stated that the airport is the worst in Europe, horribly unorganized, has terrible customer service, and has very few seats.

Los Angeles International
You would think that one of the world’s largest airports would also be one of the best. But that isn’t the case for this Los Angeles airport, which is the sixth-busiest airport in the world and third in the United States, according to LAX’s website. In 2013, Los Angeles International served nearly 66.7 million passengers and handled 614,917 aircraft operations. Unfortunately, many of those passengers weren’t happy customers.
Comments on SkyTrax, a site that details air travel ratings and reviews, describe the building as being messy and chaotic. In addition, one review said there is no sense of urgency among the staff, while another said the airport lacks shops, restaurants, and seating. The airport currently has a 4.3 out of 10 SkyTrax ranking.

The 10 Most Beautiful Cricket Grounds In The World

HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala, India. A cricket ground where a bowler can accurately be described as running in from the Himalayas end is clearly an unusual addition to the international circuit. The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association advertise their new stadium as "the most attractive ground in India", and that is not an idle boast. At an elevation of 4,110 feet, it will this weekend become the highest international ground in the world, and it is overlooked by the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas that includes snow-capped peaks three times higher. The air is crisp, Vultures and Eagles soar nearby, and the Dalai Lama has established his Tibetan Government in Exile just up the hill in Mcleodganj. Worcester it isn't.

Queenstown Event Centre, New Zealand. Stunning backdrop of the Remarkables, although offset by the airport immediately beyond the perimeter of the ground. Even that has its appeal though.

Pukekura Park is the most beautiful cricket ground I have seen. I watched an England XI play a Shell XI there in February, 1988. The ground is surrounded by exotic plants from the botanical garden, there is a lake and the whole idyll is presided over by an almost perfectly conical volcano. Absolutely stunning.

Cyber-criminal Albert Gonzalez has been accused of masterminding the biggest ATM and credit card theft in history; from 2005 to 2007, he and his cybergroup had allegedly sold more than 170 million card and ATM numbers. Gonzalez’s team used SQL injection techniques to create malware backdoors on several corporate systems in order to launch packet-sniffing (specifically, ARP Spoofing) attacks, allowing him to steal computer data from internal corporate networks. When he was arrested, authorities seized $1.6 million in cash including $1.1 million found in plastic bags placed in a three-foot drum which had been buried in his parents’ backyard. It’s almost like the opening of a James Bond movie: in 1994, while working from his laptop from his Russian apartment in St. Petersburg, Vladimir Levin transferred $10 million from the accounts of Citibank clients to his own accounts around the world.
However, Levin’s career as a hacker was only short lived, with a capture, imprisonment and recovery of all but $400,000 of the original $10 million. During Levin’s 1997 trial in the United States, he was said to have coordinated the first ever internet bank raid. The truth is Levin’s ability to transfer Citibank client funds to his own accounts was possible through stolen account numbers and PINs. Levin’s scam was a simple interception of clients’ calls while recording the punched in account numbers.
